What's Involved

  • Knowledge Development - There are 2 sections
    • All you have to do is sections 4 & 5 all about planning your own dives
    • What you can do after your certified
    • 1 more quick quiz & onto the final exam, don't worry its all multiply choice apart from 2 questions, nothing to painful...
  • Confined Water Dives - The final 2
    • A quick review of the skills you've done to make sure you can remember them...
    • Some new skills you've not done yet
    • A short swim test
  • Open Water Dives - The last 2 dives in open water
    • Time to go beyond 12 metres/40 feet
    • More fine tuning of your skill
    • & more importantly, lots more fun by doing what you love... Diving...

  • Be 10 years or older for Junior Open Water Diver
  • Be 15 years or older for Open Water Diver
  • Good health, reasonable fitness & comfort in the water
  • Olympic standard swimming is not required...
